We all have unique backgrounds and journeys that lead us to become the humans that we are today. The podcast From There to Here, hosted by Maranda Dziekonski is a podcast that discusses personal and professional journeys and how that has impacted where we are today. I had the honor of joining Maranda on her podcast as a guest to chat about my personal and professional journey.

Personally, I am a Californian living and working in London, England. I grew up in affluent Orange County and moved abroad for what was supposed to be only 1 year, but it has now been 10 years abroad for me. I have had the pleasure of living in Berlin, Germany for 4 years and now in London, England for nearly 7 years. After a decade abroad I have had tons of experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. Moving country 3 times has made me into the person I am today. It has given me two personality traits that keep me progressing in life, which are persiverance and grit. Two traits you will need when working in the startup world and especially in customer success.

Professionally, over the last decade, I have worked in B2B SaaS, focusing on customer success. I’ve worked for organizations as large as $40b+ in annual revenue to as small as under $1m, still trying to find market fit. Where I am most impactful is between Series A-C, companies on their journey from $3m – $100m in revenue, and company team sizes from about 25 – 200. ’m a Customer Success Leader passionate about investing and developing people, scaling CS strategies and operations globally; with a growth mindset but a sustainable path to IPO/Exit.

I discuss both my personal and professional journey on Maranda’s podcast, have a listen below and let me know what you think in the comments.
